Points & Miles Booking Service Terms & Conditions
By using our Points & Miles Booking Service, you agree to the following terms & conditions:
1) Timothy Mueller, DBA Jets & Journeys Travel Consulting ("We", "the Company") agrees to act as an advisor to provide guidance to you ("the Customer") on how to use your own accrued loyalty points and/or miles to redeem award space for travel products. We provide recommendations for credit cards that include points sign-up bonuses, as well as methods to accrue points with spending. We cannot be held liable for any financial damages incurred by the Customer associated with credit card related charges, including but not limited to, incurred debt, finance charges, fees or interest.
2) The Customer and the Company will agree to criteria for a points award space search, as well as the quoted fee. The quoted fee, whether at the standard rate or custom rate due to complexity of itinerary, will be made available to the customer via email before we initiate an award space search. If we locate award space that meets the criteria agreed upon by both the Company and the Customer, your method of payment will be charged the quoted fee, even if you decide not to book the trip for any reason. If you need to change the method of payment for the quoted fee, you must make this request before the award search results are sent to you.
3) Criteria for award space searches can be modified by the Customer or the Company via email, as long as both parties agree to any changes prior to award space search results being sent to the Customer.
4) The Company will make every effort to ensure that award space search results are valid and currently available. The Customer agrees to use search results to book award space as soon as possible. Award space is limited & finite and is made available at the sole discretion of the air or hotel carrier; therefore, the Company makes no guarantee that the award space specified in the search result will be available to book. Should you delay booking more than 24 hours after award search results were sent to you, and award space is no longer present, and you still desire the Company to continue searching for award space for you, we reserve the right to charge you an additional fee equal to the initially quoted fee for continued award space searches. If we send award availability and receive no response within 3 calendar days, and the agreed upon award space is no longer available, we reserve the right to charge you an additional fee equal to the initially quoted fee for continued award space searches.
5) By using the Points & Miles Booking Service, you release the Company from any and all liability associated with changes made by airlines or hotels that are beyond our control. We also cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions made by airlines or hotels regarding your itinerary. We will make every effort to assist you in the event of a schedule change or cancellation, however we are not liable for any costs associated with flight or hotel change or cancellation fees.
6) Award space itineraries may include connecting flights that are non-married flight segments. This means that the itinerary we provide you may have separate segments that are completely separate and are not recognized as a complete itinerary by any air carriers. You may have to collect checked luggage at your connecting airport's baggage claim area, and then complete any applicable airport security screening process at that airport as though you were a newly arriving passenger. We will make every effort to provide award space that allows adequate time to board your connecting flight; however, we cannot be held liable for any costs associated with missing connecting flights due to initial flight delays, baggage claim delays, security screening delays, or any other reason.
7) It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure they have researched travel requirements for their destination. You are responsible for ensuring all travelers in your party have the correct travel documents and have met all travel requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, valid passports, driver's licenses or other valid identification, visas, vaccination requirements, or other requirements for entry at your destination or ports of entry during transit. The Company cannot be held liable for any costs associated with denial of entry due to incomplete or invalid travel documents or non-compliance with travel requirements at your destination or port of entry during transit.
